Well now girls, I can see the studio output and I can tell you that there's not as much rehearsing as some of you seem to think there is. No matter what any email says.

There is a lot of studio and gallery activity in the hours leading up to each programme. They record 'big board' pieces (where a reporter stands in front of a screen/CSO illustrating the story), do technical rehearsals and practises.... and that's before the presenters get to the studio

Your forgetting the 1/6/10 rarely rehearse anymore, the presenters will get into the studio around 10 minutes before and record any items that may need to be recorded, there is VERY LITTLE rehearsing.?

The set WILL be reconstructed in TC7.
Does that include the floor and the projectors, or will they just move the walls and the desk?

Looks like the changes have begun as today's lunchtime news is coming from BBC News 24 or a very similar looking studio. Quite a smooth handover from News 24 to George.
EDIT: I'm not too sure if they're using the main studio part of News 24 though...
