The end of the new BBC News titles reminds me of the "gun barrel" shot at the beginning of a James Bond film, for some odd reason. Apart from that, not that different from the old. Studio is nice, though standing up seems a bit "un-BBC like", if I can express it like that, for me...

Angela Rippon left the BBC some years ago and was last seen on the ITV News Channel.

However, I am saddened that there is not a fresher theme for the revamp. It is just an adaptation of other news shows.
They did the same at the last relaunch and it took some time before they went with the RIBBONS
and swirls.
Perhaps we'll have the same again? Here's hoping.

I agree that the 10 looks the best, didn't notice the twinkling lights until today. However it just seems like a rectangular version of ITV News which is what Media Guardian's article said today.
I think the desk is too small and why all the standing? I don't think I'd mind if Alagiah and Kaplinsky didn't 'gesture with their hands so much! That really irritates me.
