Just out of interest which studio was used for the 1993 virtual studio?

Wasn't that TC10, also used for News 24 during their refurb in 2003.

Which I think was then used for CBBC on One when the CBBC Channel took over TC9. Level Up are coming from TC10 now I think while CBBC on One is on location around the country for a few weeks.

Looking at the opening bit of today's Working Lunch it looks like they may already be in another studio, though I'm not too sure. The episode is online via the BBC 2 website.

Looks like the Newsnight studio to me, same as always isn't it? Yet the set does look different. Could be the first change. Where's NickyS to shed some light on this?

They've not moved yet.

I notice the lighting on the National set seems to be somewhat lacking on this evening's 6 O'Clock news. Perhaps this has something to do with the move?

No, just the lighting operator not putting it up on Geogre, as was suddenly realised half way through Geogre's peice...

Also, conflicting graphics in the form of the super "Special Report" which has seemingly been replaced.

The lighting on Daniel seemed a bit unusual, though, as well. As you say, probably just the lighting operator having an off day!

Will there be new titles to go with all this change?

I like the concept of the set realising its own fate, and slowly dying. Smile

Next, the desk'll turn a horrible colour of yellow and the laminate flooring will start peeling... The end is neigh...

Like the colour the desk was when the set was first launched? Laughing
