The problem I have with the nationals, is that it looks rather empty. In Breakfast they have the sofa and the desk, but with the nationals, it looks empty.

Don't like the end of the titles - STUPID!!!

Looking forward to seeing the sting for the 6 update.

Like Breakfast - except the clouds!

It really does look scruffy with the marks on the floor (I pity those with HDTV!)

I got a HD telly, and the picture quality even without a HD broadcast is quite enhanced, and it does look absolutely awful

I also hate the way they're sitting in a baking tray! Looks like they're about to popped in at Gas Mark 5. Who ever designed the flooring needs to seriously look at their work.

I really like the new look. the titles needed an update and the way they disappear is good, much more gradual. Breakfast... agree with the clouds, yuck, but the titles are great. also want to see the 6 sting.

Why dont they use the globe screen to the right instead of where it is there for the weather?

Maybe they cant get a good camera angle for the right hand side of the studio?

AAAGGHHHH. What is it with Scotland? Once again they mong up the whole title sequence with their appauling timing.

I'm not sure what to think to be honest. Yes, it looks impressive and all that, certainly an improvement, but it's just a blatent ripoff-type-hybrid of ITV and Sky News.

I'm sick of this whole 'evolution not revolution' thing - why can't they just revolve for once? Their current approach may be fine and dandy for individual programmes, but collectively it's a mis-match and now, the 1, 6 and 10 o'clock programmes look even more out of place on News 24. Why oh why, for example, can't they do what ITV News have done and have consistent graphics on different programmes? Look North now stands out like a dog's winkie when it crosses to them.

Also, with the studio being so square, I don't know why but I keep expecting to see a radiator on the wall, as if it's someone's front room or something Confused

Watched part of Reporting Scotland one evening last week and noticed that the audio quality on their titles and stings is pretty awful.

Loving the re-jigged titles (apart from the little dodgy "NEWS" not being the right size Laughing ).

That's very disappointing. Hopefully they'll straighten that out pretty sharpish.

Mind you, BBC NI still haven't corrected that botched BBC logo in the Newsline titles.

On a related note, I'm not sure that the spacing between the [B][B][C] boxes in the recent BBC News 24 idents is correct either.

Yes thought it look like Sky News meets Channel 4 news, initial impressions are that I am not sure.

I like it. Better than ITV News, ok they have conistant graphics, but sometimes can look quite poor, and content isnt always as good.

If the BBC Update N24s graphic package, and rejig their set a wee bit. It will be a very strong brand on air.
