Surely it will come from the N24 studio as usual as N24 isn't moving. Alternatively the BBC World studio could be used, as it has in the past; the last time being just before the current look of N24 with Bill and Jules presenting a simulcast BBC News bulletin for the first half hour and then Breakfast for the back half hour.

Will Breakfast come from N6 at weekends when they do this?? They could do now as they wouldn't share a studio with Sunday AM. So it makes sense to me.

Does this mean N6 isn't getting bigger because Breakfast isn't needing extra space, or that Breakfast isn't moving to N6?
What it means is that the studio has four walls and the walls are not moving. The STUDIO is not getting bigger - it can't without re-building the news centre. The on-screen SET may make different use of the studio space available.
It has already been announced on a number of occasions that Breakfast will share the studio space with the BBC One bulletins.

As to N6 gaining more space - the studio isn't getting bigger to house Breakfast, but the current set loses a lot of studio floor to the back projectors.

The nationals (and Breakfast) will all be simulcast from News 24 over the Easter weekend, starting from Friday, then from Tuesday 18th, the nationals, Hardtalk, and Breakfast will be coming from TC7. Newsround and Newsnight will be in TC11. Working Lunch is off for a week for Easter.

Do i take it that Moira will still be doing the newsdesk segments?

So do we know what the new set will be like yet? Bearing in mind they are moving to Broadcasting House in a couple of years, (correct me if I'm wrong) I wouldn't have thought they would spend too much on it. Certainly not as much as ITV did on their £1m studio.

dunno - if having a more flexible set means fewer staff are required it might be worth investing in it.

So we're getting the new sets pretty soon then? How long will they take to build? Maybe Monday May 1st will be the day?
