That's the best clue yet!
Could it be that they are going to have a similar set up for the main bulletins where they will display a view of the newsroom, with Breakfast using it to display a location image/skyline, i.e. putting GMTV to shame?

In Chris's picture there N6 looks very far behind for only four days to go incl screen tests - unless it was taken a few days ago???..........
So when will the new look be unveiled, on the One or Six? Sorry if this has been answered already - I don't think it has.
The 1999 look was launched on a Six.

Surely N6 already had the necessary software to "know" where cameras were to allow a similar VR environment to be created as ITV News use. But in view of the comments made by Bill T about a "technologically advanced studio", can't they have a video wall along the lines of Sky News ?
I understand that N6 isn't anything like the size of the Sky News Centre, but they could produce a similar effect with clever use of an LCD-screen-based video wall and moveable walls for when the National News bulletins/summaries are being broadcast from 0915-0600.
I know lots here disagree with me but I think ITV's use of CSO is a lot better than Sky's pixelated wall. Not only does it look better, they use it better. Sky sometimes have the same picture three times on their wall just to fill it. What's the point of that? The way the ITV presenters turn to their wall and the correspondent appears in a box which wipes across is excellent.
And we were told that the BBC would be using CSO, not screens.
I don't know where you got that from but its not CSO.
So not CSO, and Nicky's already hinted there won't be projectors. A Barco screen a la Stock Exchange maybe?

We were told that they'd be making more use of CSO so, from what MediaBoy has said, I presume we should be expecting ITV Theatre of News style walls that can change to show different things. Perhaps the weather presenter will appear as if the walls have opened to the garden outside?
If it's done well, it'll look good.

It has been said that Breakfast will have new titles/music/stings etc, but will the 1, 6, 10 & 24 have new titles as well? even though 24 is staying where they are.
JO
I remember ages ago one poster said he/she had rang up some BBC News office wondering whether the titles would incorporate England more. The poster then said the woman replied "We are looking into it" or something, maybe it means the titles will have more view on England. Bearing in mind this was about a year ago now!
It looks like the graphics on BBC ONE News wont change since they just had a change, unless small changes are made.
This thing about the blue aswell, on Breakfast yesterday Bill made a remark like, the background/lights will change with the weather? Maybe there doing a type of SKY News thing,
Sunrise/Today/Lunchtime live .. Yellow lights
Live at Five - blue
Or maybe its just a hint that they will have a skyline view on the morning.
Also, is this studio for BBC One news and Breakfast also going to be shared with Working Lunch, Newsround, and Newsnight ?
I heard on another forum that they will be sharing but in a diffrent multi purpose studio

It has to be something *weather* related, both Dan and Breakfast have said that much... quite how I don't know, I'd rather it was "newsy" than "daytime" if you get my drift, but I'd love to have a window on the world again (South Today ditched theirs ages ago, so I've got withdrawl symptoms)
But I can't help but think this "changing colours" weather thing sounds a bit Sky News with the coloured bars, yellow morning, red breaking, blue evening thing, which you hardly ever see anyway...
Still, roll on Tuesday. Oh and despite what some others say, I like the little "clues" members like Dan and NickyS give out, all ads to the fun. So thanks guys.
