Does anyone know, if there is new music, whether it has been composed by David Lowe?

Soz RTS! I was just being silly. I've never known so little info being leaked this close to a revamp before. A week before the N24 relauch we had the full graphics details - though we all doubted them at the time! - and press shots of presenters in the studio. Why nothing this time?

I think if we see anything it will be tomorrow. The reason News 24 had all the publicity shots done over a week before was because the new set launched a week late after a last minute power cut. If everything had gone to plan we would have seen the previews only 2 days before the full unveiling.

Some parts of the News 24 set were incomplete when the publicity shots were taken. You'd only need part of the sets in place so they could be done sooner than you think.

Bill Turnbull has just announced that we'll get a nostalgic look at Breakfast's previous incarnations later this morning - unfortunately no mention of what the new look will be - hopefully we will get a sneak preview though

Also, following a report on British people not being very tactile, we were treated to this little event by Bill & Kate just before the opt to regions.....was nice

No, he's absolutely correct. I'm looking at the new set now, but if I told you about it I'd be in breach of my contract, so I'm not going to. You're lucky people post any inside information on here, especially given the tone of posts like yours.

Bill Turnbull said earlier that the new set was sort of the same shape, the colour was changing, there would be a different background (kind of obvious if it is a different set) and that the lighting would change as the programme goes on.

To be honest, sometimes you insiders (and I'm not tarring everyone with a big brush, just saying it does happen) do ask for it though. You come on here saying "I know something you don't know, nah, nah, nah!" and you''re surprised when people get annoyed.

Of course we all respect your contractual obligations, and are always very grateful for any snippets of info you can divulge, but I'd request that you a) aren't so smug about the info you have and b) give a few more hints, even if you could just tell us where we're going wrong with our guesses - eg saying it's not going to be blue!

As far as Breakfast is concerned there IS new music, and new Titles and Stings, and the music IS by David Lowe.

All I can say is that don't expect a radically different format - apart from no news reader - the format remains pretty much the same. However - the studio walls are much more flexible - so expect so innovations for throws to weather etc etc
