I agree, their partnership always seems forced. The programme is better when Lucy is paired with Rob Smith and even more so IMO Mike Hall. Neither North West regional partnerships seem to come over that well together. Annabelle is better with Stuart Flinders than Roger for example.
To think Granada used to have different presenters for GMTV bulitins, mid morning/lunchtime, afternoon, the main programme and the late bulletin. Lucy and Tony don't have it as cushy as they once did. You would never see Lucy on a late bulitin a few years ago for example.
Did Granada used to have a different presenter for all those bulletins? I know HTV used to have one presenter for GMTV/Morning/lunch, then one of the main programme presenters would do the afternoon bulletin and usually the other would do the late bulletin, so simular to now really, 3 or at the most 4 presenters covering the days bulletins. Its easier to cover with less presenters now as they axed the mid morning and afternoon bulletins.
Do Lucy and Tony share the lunchtime and late bulletins now on Granada Reports?

?.. Still find the partnership with Tony incredibly forced, even at 13 years and counting. They are both better on their own.
