Granada Reports

It looks like it's Lucy's turn to present the late's tonight, first time ever I've seen this.

Now, with ITV Local closing down, it will be different to see no more advertisments for the website, such as :

"For more details, visit our website, ITV Local.com/granada"

ITV must really be suffering badly, if they are turning to the main presenters, to present the late news, but I supose the BBC North West team do it, on a Thurs and Fri, when Ranvir presents the main programme and then the late news.

Erm, Granada must just be following in-line with what other ITV regions do, bar London.

Rachel Phillips is doing well.

At the beginning of of Feb, she was a new reporter to Granada, then she did a weekend bulletin, and just over a month since joining Granada, she was presenting the Main Granada Reports tonight.

Granada Reports and News, logo at the bottom, looks quite bare now the ITVLocal.com has been removed.

Oh and Gamal Fahnbulleh, has just done one of his famous long sign offs

You do realise that the DOG existed before ITV Local came along? The only reason it didn't look bare then is because it was sitting within a green box.

Unfortunatly I didn't tape it. But if you go to the ITV Local website, the bulletin should be there.

Does anybody else agree that the Granada reports studio needs some changes?. They have had the same studio, no changes, for the past 5 years.

But, then I think back to BBC North West and how they had the oxford road window for 7 years, but that defined the programme. One thing that did change at NWT was that, they did change the desk and layout of the studio.

ITV say they can't afford to provide regional news after 2010.
ITV embark on regional news sets revamp.

Yeah...not going to happen.

What is going to happen after 2010, to regional news then?
