Personally I think that Lucy will remain at granada. I think that she will alternate which the other national presenters to present the weekend bulletins (i.e. friday, saturday and sunday) and also when a relief presenter is needed.
I do think that she will remain at Granada for a long time from now!

Oh so that's where she went. She's from the other side of the pennines and mainly reported and presented late bulletins when the regular wasn't there. Sometimes on the main one, too.
Lucy won't leave Granada, she has family up here and has said in the past she wil not leave the north west again.
Was shocked to hear Sarah Elliott had gone, she was very good as cover for Lucy, when Ann wasn't there.

When Granada want to have schedulded weather forecasters, JO during the week and FRED at the weekend, why have they brought in Emma Jesson to present todays weather?

Perhaps Fred only presents a two day week contract and has already? Or is absent. Therefore Granada would have asked Emma to present the forecasts, which would be pre-recorded from ITV Central in Birmingham.
I imagine Emma (ITV Central) and Debbie Lindley (ITV Yorkshire) both who are now freelance will appear occasionally at some point on all ITV regions as most now only have two presenters.

Emma did the weather for ITV Wales last weekend - she used to present the weather frequently at ITV Wales but now they have cut back to 2 presenters too.
