Who was the new lady presenter Rachel Phillips last Friday? I'm, surprised none of the regulars were available to stand in, or have Granada got rid of them all???


She moved from Calendar across the Pennines at the start of the year I think.

She was used as bulletins presenter and also Sports presenter at times on Calendar. Occasionally used to cover the main programme I think - poss more so in the old North edition

I would have thought Channel M would have picked Sarah Elliott up, as she is a good presenter.

Don't know if I'm reading to much into this but the sofas seem to have been moved closer together the last few days.

Has anyone else got any comments on this at all?

I know Granada have been using different angles for around a month now.

According to DS Forums apparently she had been ill and was on long term sick leave, I think she's been off since August.

I believe there's just been a monumental cock up on the late Granada Reports, with the autocue and Meacock flapped, don't suppose anyone caught this?

I HATE granada reports and all north west news, its to manchester based and they treat Liverpool like crap!
