I watched Granada Reports tonight for the report on the move to the Liver Building. I was surprised that the female reporter had so little knowledge when talking about the history of the building.

She stated that the clock was started at 1:40pm on the day that George V was crowned at Westminster Abbey in 1940. That would've been quite an event since he'd been dead for 4 years! Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

They did not really show you anything about the Newsroom or studio area, just the building. Also has Ann been dropped from doing the 6pm slot for Sarah Elliot?

On the same theme, North West Tonight showed us the closing down of BBC Radio merseyside building and the move to a new building in the City Centre- which will be open to the public soon, with the all new BBC shop....... Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing

You can tell which bit of the Albert Dock This Morning used to come from as the pillars in front of the windows were painted grey, rather than the usual red, to stop them appearing too bright on camera outside the glass. They are still grey to this day.

I noticed that the other presenter can't think of her name now seems to freelance between ITV news and granada now.
there are a couple of good female facs now like Sarah Elliot and Ann o Connor who fill in when Lucy isn't there.
