Shocking times.

Guess Election Night might get a Christmas special this year. Heck, any show with a tree will need to ensure they have baubles representing each party.

BBC News at Five titles just went out on World...

Which is strange because Huw gave World a clear "You're watching BBC News" opt out at :25 which is the perfect time to play out weather and adverts ahead of BOTH

Interesting to see the two guests that were standing beside Cristian Fraser outside the Houses of Parliament an hour ago that had to be abandoned due to heavy rain have been brought to Broadcasting House for a short interview in Studio C with Huw.

Why oh why does the ruling from the Supreme Court this morning have to happen during Victoria Derbyshire. Crying or Very sad

I agree, awlful programme, I would have scraped it and run a News Special or something, no build up at all

It's a news programme that thinks it is more important than the news. It should never have been scheduled for that slot today.

How did This Morning handle it?

BBC World News started 1700 GMT with the headline by Matthew Amroliwala, but then simulcasted with BBC News at Six including the titles.

Just now Matthew Amroliwala started off the 1800 bulletin on World with a very long headline sequence, after that he mentioned “We’ll be joining the UK News Channel”, then fading to the titles of the Six at the NC... I’ve never came across this kind of junction but I’d assume they had to do it because the domestic channel had to do opt outs for regions...

Andrew Neil's BBC One special will also air on BBC World News...

Which would mean it'll be on BBC Four as well I'd imagine.
