Why oh why does the ruling from the Supreme Court this morning have to happen during Victoria Derbyshire. Crying or Very sad

. . . and have sound problems. Although, in all fairness, they have the same problem on Sky News.

It was a problem with the Supreme Court apparently, something to do with the rain according to VD.

According to BBC News website live feed:

"We apologise to those of you experiencing problems with the sound on the live stream. We are told it is a problem from within the Supreme Court itself, and is due to the heavy rain in London."

Strangely, the sound was perfectly fine on BBC Radio 5 Live.

I haven't seen Studio B set up like that before. VD presenting from a sofa behind the desk, with a generic backdrop.

Once again the VD show makes a mess of breaking news.

I've just spent 20 mins watching the rulling on my phone, no problem at all (and I'm in Central London, and the sun's just come out, but hey)

That was possibly one of the most badly directed half hour of news output I've ever seen on the News Channel ever!

It was pretty messy, considering it was covering a planned news event.

The graphics have been struggling a wee bit with the transition from VD to breaking news mode, followed by a surprise title sequence at 1100 - I'm not quite sure for whose benefit that was. World?

[Edit] I see my question was answered above.

We've now gone to an excitable Ben Brown in Westminster, and I'm not sure it's much of an improvement.

That actually looks decent. Somebody remind me of what the Breakfast studio looks like again?
Stuart, bkman1990 and London Lite gave kudos
