Whatever the rights and wrongs of the conflict, surely bombing targets in mainland Georgia amounts to an invasion of another sovereign state -- illegal under international law without a UN resolution?
Well, who knows what's the real truth, I just try to look at these things from several points of view, not only the one presented on western news channels.
After Kosovo got it's independence there will be many more cases like this. There already were some explosions in some China regions who also want independence. I expect more of this in the future.
RT's 'Political Commentator' is a joke. They just showed the pictures of when the Georgian President ran for cover with his bodyguards, RT's Political Commentator started laughing and said:
"Oh, Seen him looking up at the sky saying, Whats that?, I think he's scared to be in his own country"
The coverage is totally one sided, they keep repeating lines such as "Georgian troops are throwing grenade's at women and children"

Remember that Russia Today is essentially a state TV station.
Sky seem to be upping there coverage as of 6 this evening, with 20 minutes of continuos coverage and counting, including a fascinating account from Stuart Ramsay on a road towards Gori.
William Dunbar, a correspondent in Georgia for English-language state channel Russia Today, mentioned the bombing in a report Saturday, and he has not gone on air for the station since.
'I had a series of live, video satellite links scheduled for later that day, and they were canceled by Russia Today,' he said by telephone from Tbilisi on Sunday. 'The real news, the real facts of the matter, didn't conform to what they were trying to report, and therefore, they wouldn't let me report it.
'I felt that I had no choice but to resign,' he added

Probably more accurate to describe it as a state-controlled TV station... Many people outside of Europe view broadcasters like the BBC, ARD, ZDF, SVT, NRK etc. to be state TV stations - but they are editorially a very different kettle of fish to RT and a lof other Russian domestic TV channels AIUI. (It makes Berlusconi's stuff look tame...)
