Apologies if I've missed this - but what role is Sian Williams playing in the election? Or is she merely there rehearsing for Election Breakfast?

The picture quality from the Daily Politics studio really is shoddy. Looks so unprofessional for a flagship politics programme.

The Daily Politics always looks shoddy!

Think she is just rehearsing for election breakfast...she is hosting with Jon Sopel

I may be wrong but there seems to be less obscure Party Election Broadcasts this year, it just seems to be the main 3 parties on rotation.

Some of the ones billed for 10.45pm on BBC1 never seemed to actually air.

Well it certainly is big! Hope it doesn't look to messy on the night though.

Saw the BBC Election set on Points Of View and it looks good. I don't think any of the sets have looked as cluttered as the Election 92 set. I always loved the Election 2005 set and Peter Snow's VR set on a balcony.

Has the election set been shown on Breakfast yet, I seem to recall Jeremy Vine saying yesterday on PoV that it would be unveiled during Monday's Breakfast?

She will also present news bulletins in the Dimbleby Election 2010 programme (after Election Breakfast from 1000).

Can they keep TC1 for the news after the election? It's too superb looking right now to dismantle again...

It looks stunning!!

Not sure about the background when Nick Robinson was being interviewed in the 2way. The large LED look seemed to cause some issues on the web stream I was watching. How did it look on TV?

Also, Jeremy Vine mentioned it will be in HD. So are Sky only pegging all their publicity on the fact that they go on air at 9pm, 55 minutes before the BBC, therefore they are the UK's first HD Election night programme?!

The set looks great but the graphics seem a bit ordinary. Can't wait for Thursday but for the first time since 1979 I won't be able to watch live as I'm at a work do. Mandatory!! Mad

What a superb looking set! The wide shots just give it such a great sense of space, the shot looking at the OB screen is great with the cameras in view. All very impressive and nice that it's going to get more use than just on the night.
