If anyone watched Look North (Leeds) at 10:35pm, there was a trailer for the 'Look North Debate', which seemed to include the video version of the BBC Election 2010 graphic seen above.
I assume this is nod to the presentation style for the BBC in general...it seems it's a map of the UK with red, blue and yellow 'Battleship' style pins sticking out!
Wonder why BBC News are using a foreign correspondent/anchor (Komla Dumor - sp??) for the current roving reactions from around the UK. Don't they have enough political staff/reporters, even from the regions?

I think Komla Dumor is London based though. He presents The World Today on the BBC World Service quite regularly and has started popping up on BBC World News at weekends.
