I think the logo, if it is actually the on-air one, could potentially work but only if they changed the letter and tagline font to something like Gilroy or Montserrat. The current font doesn't fit on-air.

Hopefully a sign that there will be impartial news anchors as well as 'personalities'.

I don't think we can judge the 'news' portion of the channel until it airs. I think we can all interpret a 'lean' of any news department/channel, but that lean doesn't show where it matters - breaking news and special events.

I know it's Guido but that little snippet of info reads like a teachers school report. Very strange.

The snippet of info is actually a screenshot from Sky News' John Ryley...

If Kay jumps ship too then this could be the new (old) Sky News... Interesting to see how this develops. I think there needs to be something to shake things up. BBC/SKY have become complacent. Nothing but a sleepy snoozefest these days. Almost apologetic if they should so much as read out a breaking news line on a rolling news channel

I'm not. It's another cautionary tale of not paying too much attention to Twitterstorms.

Colin is a much better appointment than Dan and not as partisan.
