Nah, Olympic Torch arrival the previous evening and Torch Relay start was massively disruptive on the day.

This is manic for us in the County but will be a massive news event if C19 permits.

Welcome to the club. When we had the G8 up our way, it was all fun and games with all the different passes and lanyards you had to have to prove you lived there.

Guess it'll be the biggest media event in Cornwall since the 1999 eclipse.

This made me laugh.

It means for me, that a summer where I didn't plan on any holidays is going to be in Cornwall!

This time I'm moved away from home and don't get a subsidised bar Sad .

Just a shame that, with Cornwall having its own distinctive flag and indeed language, the logo is all-English and the waves are very reminiscent of the Isle of Wight flag.

As it is a world wide event, would the Cornish flag be known in Japan, the USA or the other G7 members?
I doubt the English flag is as well known as the Union flag there!

Opportunity missed to rectify that. Dragon featured in 2014 NATO summit logo for example. Besides, there's cousin Jacks all over the world.
