Having an election programme start in daylight -- especially in the light, open-plan Franceinfo studio/newsroom -- gives it such a different feel to our late-night results, doesn't it? It lacks a little theatre, if I may say so!

BFM TV is streaming on YouTube too. Great to see broadcasters doing this nowadays - much easier to watch on smart TVs and mobile devices than website streams.

TF1's intro. Seems they've converted part of their corporate HQ for the programme.

Tiny graphics on TF1. I'm watching in HD on a decent-sized telly and I can barely read some of them.

The position Sky News is broadcasting from seems a little cheap: Adam Boulton sat outside in a restaurant's seating area. The BBC's coverage coming from a rooftop overlooking Paris looks very nice however.

I wonder if the snap General Election has blown the budget a bit?

Just wait until they see Adams restaurant bill. Very Happy We all know he likes a wee snack during Election coverage.
