Sky should be pleased with it's share over the weekend.

How did it compare to the BBC News Channel's share ?

5% all day share on Saturday for BBC NC. 5x normal amount. I think it was the most watched channel after BBC One and ITV.

Not news channels but it is good to see The One Show lit in blue white and red in and outside the studio tonight.

Contrary to popular belief, the Great British Public can and do stray beyond EPG position 4 or 5 should they need to ?

I think the figures on Friday though (5.7m v 1.3m) show there was an audience around after the 10pm bulletins which ITV could have capitalised on had they continued with rolling coverage.

Any figures for the Saturday 5.45pm and Sunday 7.30pm editions of ITV News?

Saturday 2.3m
Sunday 2.5m

Thanks Cando. Thought the Sunday one might have got a bit more, though it only really aired in half of the slot - it was off air soon after quarter too.

Emily Maitlis presented the live Panorama. There was a 20 min package from John Sweeney, then lives from Victoria Derbyshire reporter Catrin Nye in Brussels and Laura Kuenssberg on College Green.

Panorama straps were used throughout.

Interesting opening to BBC World News America, with pictures from Paris in the globe as the title sequence ran.

World News America always edit their titles during major stories. I remember them changing them for the royal baby in 2013.

The titles are edited during major stories or when they are reporting on location.
