Sorry if this has already been shared - ratings for news programmes over the past weekend:
More viewers turned to ITV than BBC for Paris news on Saturday night - The Guardian

I don't care about the ITV vs BBC spin they put on it - simply sharing an article outlining the ratings for news programmes across Saturday and Sunday. Relevant article, relevant thread. Thought that much was obvious...
Follow through effect from XF. Clearly explained in the article.

The 4.3m at 10.55pm last night is more impressive, again helped by I'm a Celeb. Always said this week would be the test for News at Ten with the inheritence from I'm a Celeb but obviously the story will skew it higher.
I think the figures on Friday though (5.7m v 1.3m) show there was an audience around after the 10pm bulletins which ITV could have capitalised on had they continued with rolling coverage.
Any figures for the Saturday 5.45pm and Sunday 7.30pm editions of ITV News?

Sky should be pleased with it's share over the weekend.
TF1, France 2 and France 3 took Hollande's address earlier this afternoon. France 2 and 3 had different perspectives of delivering the same content. FR3 also had it signed.

I didn't realise that The X Factor was now so bad that the viewership soils themselves.
