David Eades now anchoring solo from Studio E.

With Henry Clarke Price presenting some packages from the screens. I don't recall seeing him before - is he a regular face on World?

Henry Clarke Price has been on the NC a lot during the day. He is a Senior Producer for BBC News I think and is more behind the scenes.

Remember back during the Election, we had Christian Fraser up at the weather screen. Henry was mentioned on here as he was seen a lot there as the producer them segments

This is when I very happy with a news department; if a Senior Producer can go infront of the camera.

Just going back to Friday evening, when did the BBC and Sky first break the initial details about what happening in Paris? I tuned in to the BBC News Channel at 21:40 with World News Tonight covering the initial details with Tim Wilcox.

Looking at IRN NET Newsroom (for radio) the first flash was sent to stations at 21:14:13 saying that a gunman had opened fire at a restaurant in Paris.

World News Today began at 9pm and Tim read the headlines sat down rather then standing up, like they would on WNT - after the titles played he went straight into the breaking news of the attacks and continuing coverage began there, I don't think they covered any other news after the first line was read at 9:01ish.

I'm pretty sure they went to other news for a little while - on my way home from work I got a news alert on my phone a little after 9pm and when I had a look at the news channel feed they were doing the story on the drone strike - presumably there was little information at that point so they moved on to other things for a while.

I was listening to 5 live's football commentary, they briefly broke away for a news report with Mark Chapman at 9:20 and then they pretty much went into rolling news mode from 9:45 up until midnight last night.

Actually this is a live edition of State Of The Union. The Noon broadcast is usually a replay.

The scheduled regional and national early evening bulletins on ITV have been replaced by a half-hour bulletin at 7:30 tonight.

The late bulletin will be broadcast at the scheduled time of 10:50 but is also half-an-hour long.

A fascinating few minutes on C4 News as Matt Frei is at a square where it's feared a shooting is taking place. They stuck with him as long as possible before suddenly cutting to Jon and then returning, with the producer being heard too informing Matt he was on air and when to throw to Jon etc. They think it's a false alarm but it highlights a city on edge.

Same on CNN, absolutely petrifying, Amanpour clearly shaken but still rolling live as she commands a producer go find out from Police what happened.
