We have highly partisan cable news, you have highly partisan press.

Anyone who says there are no "great" news outlets in the U.S. has never read a U.S. newspaper, listened to NPR, or watched the CBS Evening News or Frontline.

I've heard some npr...that woman with the old voice Is some character. Us newspapers are not that great.... Cbs news is alright. But my really should be punching above the air.

In general the major newspapers are not partisan here in the US - if you look at Wikipedia you'll see there isn't a "political alignment" category. Now that's not saying that the papers editorial boards are not partisan but there's generally a church and state separation. The editorial board may endorse a candidate but the actual news reporting is straight.

To be fair, New York is a bit different. The tabloids are certainly politically aligned- Murdoch's New York Post is pretty far right, while the Daily News is center-left. I guess the New York Times is center left as well, but like...at this point anything with a firm grasp on reality is left wing.

They seek to partner with programming that share values of inclusion and diversity....

THEY WERE SPONSORING THE O'REILLY FACTOR.

The irony. Inclusion and diversity doesn't mix with discrimination and the like, isn't it?

Geez Now word comes that SHOWTIME is developing a miniseries about the fall of Roger Ailes!
Showtime is similar to HBO... in that is a premium pay channel. They developed the American version of Shameless.

Its up to 8 now as reported by the "failing' New York Times.
Quote:
The New York Times now reports there are now 8 companies that have pulled advertising from O’Reilly’s show. The new marketers include GlaxoSmithKline, Allstate, Constant Contact, Untuckit and Sanofi Consumer HealthCare.

At this rate, the domestic FNC feed will be playing out the international filler during 'The Factor'

Don't you worry. Fox will find plenty of "We Buy/Sell Gold" and Life Alert ads to fill all the spots...

True but the show wont make the $100 million in ad sales it bought in last year at this point , because some of those cheap call to action spots only make money if the vendor makes money.
Advertisers deflections now stands now at 18 at this hour and counting.
