Watching FNC from a presentation point of view, what is the point of Outnumbered? Seems to be tokenism in providing a female fronted hour of non-news which is regularly interrupted for breaking news anyway. It's the Victoria Derbyshire of inane scheduling.

The Five at 5pm is again at a time which would be better served with America's Newsroom or another rolling news hour.

FNC in the 2000s despite being Republican skewed kept the opinion shows until the evening peak, the daytime shows don't work.

In Fox News' defence, some of their daytime coverage isn't terrible and the news anchors don't spout nonsense like their primetime hosts. However, I've tried watching the Outnumbered show and I just don't understand it. It's like they are trying to create a 100%-politics version of The View and interferes with the flow of the daytime lineup.

I feel bad for "some" of the journalists there, but unforunately they are in a circus tent and their work will always be smeared and linked with the garbage that bookends the "news" content in the dayside.

Too much about this channel reeks. Plus you have the president using the commentators to espouse his viewpoints. Sounds very RT to me. Creepy

Fox and Friends is equally as awful. It's no real surprise that the two male anchors have been there for far too long and Steve Doocy has to be propagandist in chief for the Republican party. Recently they did an interview in the White House with Trump which is up there with RT's licking of senior politicians. I don't think they've had a decent female co-host since E.D Hill where it just seems to be rent a blonde presenter.

Their 5-6am hour reminds me of the GMTV Newshour where they got the obligatory news content out of the way, so they can pump out the opinionated nonsense afterwards.

This SNL Fox and Friends parody is too close to reality. The story correction/retraction scroll at the end is hilarious.

Shep Smith is just about the only sane person during the day who can call out the **** of the Trump administration. Other news shows are either actively biased or suffer from pro-GOP/ pro-Trump story selection bias.

Oddly it's not available in the US. The comment scroll is best viewed when you can slow it down on your TiVo. One of my favorite ones was when they tossed to their fact checker and all she said was bad.

HAHAHAHAH! I remember that one as well. LOL

The New York ran this exhaustive but brilliant piece on the dumpster fire that is FOX News on Saturday. ITs a long read and well researched. Nothing less from the New York Times.

CNN US's Reliable Sources is currently discussing O'Reilly with a NY Times reporter.

Trump won't like that.

He'll declare it as 'FAKE NEWS' while getting his sources from the likes of Breitbart or Infowars.

There all it, All US media outlets are bad.
