The man that has been the creative director at FOX NEWS has died. Anyone dying is certainly sad news for their families and work colleagues. He was with the channel since its launch in 1996. I think it goes without saying FOX NEWS has one of the worst graphic presentations on any properly funded news channel anywhere. Yes you can make the argument that the tabloid look is its DNA and yes that true. But frankly is not even good tabloid look. See WSVN or WHDH for a proper tabloid graphic presentation. And right now the FNC graphic presentation...... its quite tired. Especially for a channel that claims to be a legitimate news channel. Does his sad passing mean eventually a new look will be rolling out. Its highly unlikely. But maybe a slight change or a cleaner look is on the horizon. One can only hope.

It's the first thing I think about when someone passes away.

Not that it matters, but he had actually already left Fox News before he died, according to the linked article.

Why shouldn't he?
After all, this is a TV presentation forum, not a bereavement board or a funeral home.
Can you tell us all precisely: what is the appropriate mourning period until we can start to discuss what we all came here for? Ridiculous.

Anything that did replace Fox News wouldn't be anywhere near as skewed to the right as Fox News is, so they could at least distance themselves from Fox News, so even if Sky News America did happen, and it's almost happened a few times even with Fox News, the likelihood of it being just another Fox News clone is pretty close to zero in my view.
Eh, they'd probably relaunch as Sky News America six months later. Like how the Sun on Sunday eventually took NOTW's place.

CNN has published an exclusive article about the chaos behind the scenes at FNC since the Seth Rich/White House story emerged. Coupled with the all the seemingly unending sexual harassment scandals, that place is a dumpster fire.

Given that Fox's bid for full control of Sky is up in the air over everything happening at Fox News (especially with the added bonus of presenter Eric Bolling's suspension over inappropriate text messages to colleagues), a potential rebrand is the absolute least of Murdoch and co's concerns right not.
