CBSN is live streaming a FOX reporter, and 13 others who have filed a racial discrimination lawsuit.

Wow the reporter Kelly Wright the only male black presenter on the entire channel was very emotional. Fox News looked super dusty.

I wonder if we're looking at the death throes of Fox News Channel. At the moment, it is still profitable, but News Of The World was profitable when Murdoch shut that down. If Rupert starts to think that a Fox News is no longer serving his purpose, I have no doubt at all that he would shut it down in a heartbeat. I don't think we're there yet, but after the last year, we've seen that pretty much anything is possible.

What a moment in history that would be if that ever happened. If they are prepared to look long and deep into the culture and bring about change, then hopefully it will happen.

If FNC becomes toxic, I can see them keeping FBN, but then moving the FNC prime time shows to Fox Business.

They'd probably keep Lou Dobbs Tonight but fit most of the rest around it. Your World to Special Report before, Tucker, The Five & Hannity after. Lou Dobbs actually would have fitted in quite well on FNC.

Frankly IMO FNC has been damaging to the US culturally in so many ways, but it simply makes too much money to go the way of The News of World. I hope that OFCOM is looking hard at this whole mess. FNC and 21st Century is nervous because this could scupper their SKY take over bid again like the phone tapping mess.

Yes and to their core audience this sort of thing isn't an issue. It's like how Trumps base weren't put off with his more extreme views and attitudes.... they probably think the same.

Advertisers are a different matter but as long as it pulls in a certain audience they'll still be companies around who'll want to sell them catheters and the like. If anything it'll be the channels aging demographic that'll kill it off

Although apparently it's all the fault of 'liberal fascists'...

The difference with News of the World is that long term it made sound financial sense to role it into The Sun and make that a 7 day operation.

Going by the size of this box during Outnumbered, FNC are desperate to make Tucker's 8pm move a viable one.

Just put on FNC to see what The Five's replacement is and shock horror, it's another panel show! Rolling Eyes

Ailes founded America's Talking Channel back in the day and FNC basically its slickly televised talk radio. Have a group of people sit around yammering about conservative politics and the pensioners will queue up in droves.

I think this video sums it up. They've scratched the scab, but the infection is still there.
seamus and London Lite gave kudos
