Shame. Gone for the money.

Should have gone all the way to court, and forced the skeleton cupboard of Fox News open even more.

ALSO Breaking: Greta Van Sustren Quits! effective today after more than a decade as a primetime host. A big shake-up coming at Fox News.

Quite shocking how they got rid of her, some details here. She seemed like one of the more normal people over there. Would be a good adition to CNN, her previous network, imo.

Wow, that's a total NBC move. That's not unlike how they pulled David Gregory off the air.

I could maybe see her at CNN in a commentator role like what she did before, but I doubt they would giver her her own show. She's one of the not-terrible Fox presenters, but her show never struck me as anything special.

I just wish she would speak about Scientology publicly someday. I don't know how anyone could rationalize being a journalist and a Scientologist.

Remember: She was one of the rumored talent that had an out clause in their contract should Ailes leave. Looks like that is no longer a rumour. Now the next question is who is next to leave?

Reports say she had 60 days from his departure to leave, so if that's true, then there's not much time left. Other talent could have different clauses, of course. And then some are or could be simply nearing the ends of their contracts (most notably Megyn Kelly).

She's one of the more quiet ones. You don't hear much if anything about it from her or her husband. Based on an old Gawker article she was still close with her sister, who is a psychiatrist. Scientologist shun psychiatrists and I'm pretty sure if she were a die hard she wouldn't be in touch with her sister.

If you want to find more facts about Scientology you should watch Going Clear . It's still on HBO OnDemand over here in the US but I wouldn't know if Sky ever aired it. The Tampa Bay Times has an ongoing series on Scientology - definitely worth a read.

It was on Sky last year and is still available on demand.

Sky listed it as one of their original productions. From August 2015.

Quote:
Sky will premiere Going Clear: Scientology and The Prison of Belief on the 21st of September at 9pm on Sky Atlantic. The documentary, which has attracted widespread critical acclaim, is a Sky Atlantic co-production from Academy Award winning filmmaker Alex Gibney. The film recently garnered 7 Emmy award nominations, including for Direction and best Documentary Special.

Here is an interesting New York Times op-ed piece about the future direction of Faux News Channel. Interesting. Hopefully it reads true.
