Yeah, the idea that there's a left-wing slant in any mainstream media outlet is hilarious. Centrist liberal maybe, but not "far" left.
Remember: The Overton Window has shifted so far to the right thanks to 3-4 decades of neo-liberalism that anything even remotely left wing is basically worse than anything Stalin ever did.
He must mean all those far-left outlets that were championing Bernie Sanders, like..... erm..... er....
Oops, shoulda put quote marks on that (direct quote from O'Reilly). However, the media in America is certainly on the side of the left-- just look at the AP style guide, and the polls that show how many in the media support the left. FOX News balances the scale, clearly there is a market for right leaning news (that niche market that is 50% of the country).

That's just the sort of nonsense that Fox News spouts about itself - it's divide and conquer rhetoric. If there's a 'left wing bias' in the American media then I've yet to see it outside of a few niche YouTube channels.
Not that there is really substantial 'left wing' politics in the US. As elmarko points out there's barely any liberal politics, at least not in the European use of the terms (the so called socialist, liberal, left wing Obama would be an arch Tory here)
What is it about the AP style guide? Does it really have a bias or is it just a case of it being being seen by those of a particular persuasion as being biased because it doesn't pander to their prejudices and opinions?

The closest to any mainstream media outlet skewing towards the Democrats is MSNBC. Left-wing biased broadcasting doesn't work in the U.S on a mainstream level.
