If this busty-leggy-blonde news-bunny right-wing scream-fest "model" didnt work to pull in horny, old, angry men for hours at a time, they would have scrapped it years ago.

Reading the stories over the last few weeks I suspect the hiring policy for female presenters was down to Ailes.

It could be a good day for diversity... They might get a couple of non-blondes Laughing

A potential shift of the FNC isn't necessarily all that surprising. It actually quite accurately reflects a dramatic change in politics in the US. The Republican right wing movement has - to an extent - split in two. You now have the old establishment neo-liberals and the new radical blue collar populists. The foundations of the latter were laid by the Tea Party movement, but it's grown legs and the populists are now far more extreme. Trump is their 'public face' right now, but he'll soon become their most high profile victim, when he either wins and is seen as too moderate or loses, and is viewed as too moderate. The FNC is part of the right wing establishment. My guess is that we'll see it take more of a pro-business right-wing stance, leaning heavily on it's highly successful Fox Business Network. Sarah Palin already has her own show on the One America News Network. I can see that particular channel going down the heavily socially conservative route with big hitters like O'Reilly. It will get very messy and very disruptive.

Stoked, crafted and nurtured by FNC every chance they got.

No difference. LOL

Any shift will be too-little, too-late. His impact on U.S. TV journalism cannot be overstated. Just take one look at CNN Domestic and MSNBC. In terms of counterprogramming they have thrown everything but the kitchen sink at FNC and nothing has stuck, except for the temporary ratings gains (CNN more so than MSNBC) they have made during the current election cycle.
