They were broadcasting from their NYC newsroom the other day while they were removing asbestos from Studio B. I had no idea their facilities were quite so bad. The basement newsroom is the most horrendous environment these people could possibly work in. It makes Sky's old studio and newsroom look palatial! Apparantly the newsroom leaks frequently when NYC experiences heavy rain and the air conditioning frequenly fails. Plus they still haven't moved to a server based playout which is surprising.

I've seen Fox & Friends and The Fox Report on a few occassions, the latter of which was satisfactory, yet not as informative and in-depth as it should have been.
The problem I have with Fox News is that on nearly every occassion that I turn over, the weather report is broadcasting, presumably because the US feed is on a break. This may be normal across the pond, but from a UK viewer's point of view, a break every 5-10 or so minutes (and which last for quite a duration too) is unacceptable.

So what do you think of this trashy channel.I almost never watch it but a few days ago I had to see that story about a woman who stole a police car. They were literally laughing to her at one point.I couldn't believe it.
And FOX & FRIENDS terrible, it's like Jerry Springer.

Not that surprising, most of BBC News hasn't either!
But on your other points, yes, it's an awful channel

Most of BBC News has.
Of the roughly 48 hours of TV News output each day, at least 95% is from server playout

OK, a slight exageration. forgot about the rolling news channels. There is a lot that's still tape based apart from N24 and World

It is better to watch Pat Robertson telling everyone how God "smote" Ariel Sharon than to watch the Fox News Channel. (Don't get me wrong, they are all s***ty)

They claim to be reflecting the views of most Americans just because they are the most-watched "news channel". Like the increasing number of hits on the BNP website, this is far from the case. Not all its audience agrees with its neo-fascist politics.
Presenter-wise Bill O'Reilly is an outspoken borderline-racist bigot whose attitude to guests who don't toe the right wing line is abhorrent. John Gibson spouts out on things he doesn't know anything about. And let us not forget it is owned, run and content dictated to by Rupert Murdoch - part time bullying media genius, part time political miscreant.
Fox News serves Christians, business leaders and the priveliged few. It panders to ignorance, misunderstanding and plays to fears. Just like the Daily Mail.
