BBC News 24, has shown some fantastic 'exclusive', home video footage.
They have used a dog to brand it as such.

For those of us without Sky it's interesting to see Westcountry's weather graphics etc.

Alexis Bowater seemed a bit flustered though.

I watched both, found it hard to seperate them.
I would say Spotlight was better because it explained the science behind the freak weather a bit more.

Darren Jordan said there is to be a BBC News special on BBC2 and BBC News24 at 3.20pm!
Will they use Rajesh Merchandani (s.p?) or could they use Terresa Driscol?
Imagine That!

Do they realise that CBBC is on 2 this week due to the Olympics?

Probably not as the News 24 'Special' its now billed as being on BBC1, for 20 mins in the middle of Olympic Grandstand

FLOODS UPDATE:- News24 have broke some news about flash floods in Londonderry in NI, thou they did say it was likely to be no where near the floods of Boscastle.
Just fliking through the channels only N24 have broken this so far, Sky and NC have broke the news about UK troops fighting malita in Iraq.

The ITV News Channel is to show Westcountry Live at 6pm according to the EPG.

On another note, is this what the regulator ment when they told the BBC that News24 should make more use of its regional centres?
Because ITV NewsChannel is already ahead in using Westcountry Live output, IMO.

ITV broke this news as well - I believe before BBC (though could be wrong)
