Not many in the UK except the BBC seem to
know how to make popular news programs... Five, with its free-to-air signal could have and should have by now established itself as a ratings force - it's been on for 13 years.
A 'ratings force' in news? News doesn't rate that highly on any channel.
Also remember that Five was always hampered by not having universal coverage - 'free to air' it's signal might be but it has never got everywhere. It's almost there now but it's a bit late
