Five News - New Look

One to miss I think - two of the most annoying and overrated people on UK TV. Shame he didn't get Ricky Gervais on the same show and then the demolition of TV Centre could have begun last night!

Um...Am I the only one to notice how cruel Jonathan treated Kaplinsky? The entire interview, he was aloof and seemed uninterested in her, and finished with 'something like 'Well done to you, because I know a lot of people wanted to see you fail!'' I just found her interview slightly odd and awkward.

Isn't he like that with everyone though?

Doesn't she deserve it? She seemed quite happy talking about her celeb sh*t all interview rather than her journalistic credentials. She could quite easily moved him onto news, but she just talked about dancing. She suits Five down to the ground.

Anyone would look aloof compared to her!

Yeh cos Huw Edwards, Jeremey Paxman, Jon Snow and Martin Stanford all appear on Jonathon Ross's show dont they! It's an entertainment show aimed, thus want entertaning people on to talk about entertaining issues!

Yeah, so why'd they get her on then?

Dunno but interviewing wise the entire program seemed to be a bit boring on friday - most likely they were desperate or Five pushed and pushed and pushed

Natasha said at the end of the Five News at five, that Matt Barbett would be doing it at seven, any reason why?

I don't know.

I wonder how Matt feels presenting the news from a pink sofa.

He may feel butch sitting on that shade of pink
