Five News celebrity editors

Now this is interesting... on Fridays throughout November, Five News will be edited by a different celebrity editor each week. They are Ms. Dynamite Kelly Holmes, Howard Marks and, most interestingly I reckon, Alistair Campbell.

One question comes to mind here . . .

Why?

Well on the one hand, it could be seen as a way of giving the news an edge by showing it from a different perspective (like More4 News really).

On the other, it could be a cynical gimmick to try and attract viewers.

I think we should be told.

I notice the little 'rolling eyes' thing after Ms. Dynamite, but isn't she supposed to be pretty smart?

I think she passed up a place a Cambridge to go for her music career instead.

I wouldn't call that smart...

Well I wonder who earns more, Mrs Dynamyte or a young post graduate lol...

I can not wait to see Campbell's take on the news. Must be his dream to directly control the news lol.

Im really annoyed at the way five news has gone since they went to Sky, especially with the guests they have on. Rick Astley today and that was followed by a report about Kate Bush. I wasnt sure if I was watching CDUK or the news. And Kate finished the programme with a teaser that Racheal Stevens was on the show tommorow. No wonder Charlie Styt didnt hang around too long

Can you imagine the Headline?

Theres no comparison with the morning news from last year with Rob , Katie , Lisa and Elaine. Its even been moved to avoid facing channel 4.

It may be what Five want but i dont like it, there's ten minutes hard news if you're lucky.

The evening news is generally lacking in quality presenters at the moment . It made a pleasant change to see Anjali Rao on there this evening.
