Babita Sharma mentioned on Twitter that our Ange is doing the news this week on Channel 5 for some 81 inspired royal wedding hilarity. Haven't seen any other mention of it on The Newsroom. Who else is scheduled to read this week? Only Angela?

She also was reading the news on Five Live Breakfast show on the radio this morning, with Dickie Davies doing the sport and Michael Fish doing the Weather.

Channel 5? How unclassy.

I remember when Angie Rippon kept all us in the chatroom up to date with the latest Turrrur lever updates via the ITV News Channel.

Angela also popped up doing a segment called "Rippon's Britain" on The One Show last Friday, from a 70s-themed newsdesk - with people appearing in the inset/window over her shoulder.

It was part of 1981 Day yesterday on BBC Radio 5 Live.

She'll be E!'s Royal expert tomorrow.
