Yes, Media Guardian said that Sky News were believed to be building a new set ready for when Emma/Matt start.

Sky News is understood to be building a new set for the programme, which insiders said would take a more in-depth look at the day's events with an increased emphasis on interviews.

I read somewhere (probably on here) that Sky are building a new set for C5 News (and OK!TV).

I guess that the old set has now been completely dismantled since LFSF finished last Friday.

At least you now know where you read it from, I will miss that look, especially the glass logos, I liked them, shame Matt didn't make use of the Studio like Isla did with News at 7.

I think I missed that look most when they had to make the set smaller to fit the Live from Studio Five one in. I'm not really that keen on the current theme music, but I like the graphics, and current look of Five News . I hope the new set isn't as small as the current one so another studio can be fitted in! - Or so you can see bits of another set poking above!

Does anyone know if the programme will be rebranded to "Channel 5 News"? On the current TV guides for Channel 5, it still lists the programmes as "Five News at 5" & "Five News at 7" for the 14th Feb.

You sure it's a green screen? Looks like a 103 plasma to me. It has the same colourwash and flickering as seen by 103 plasmas elswhere at Sky News.

There's only one 103 inch Plasma at Sky News. They're not exactly easy to come by. It would make more sense to be a green screen though.

I have not seen a 103 plasma on FIVE News before, only the one that use to be used for the studio next to the sofa for two ways and stories.

If anyone wanted to know: Its not the original tv used from the 2008 relaunch, they changed it between 2008 update and 2009 I believe unless someone can correct me.

That is indeed correct, the original TV was a frameless TV (not sure what else to call it).
