Five News

I noticed that Emma Brannam no longer reports for Five News. She was a correspondent with a remit for health stories I think - but she's now gone. Did she quit or has she been given the old tin tack? Have they had a bit of a clearout of deadwood? I suppose it would make sense when you're a totally new service - not every reporter will make the grade and they're probably cutting back budget-wise.

Not that I'm saying she was deadwood per se. I'm sure she was absoutely adequate - but maybe the Sky bigwigs didn't like her.

Bob , EB was only there for a couple of months, i didnt see her after Cathy Jones returned from maternity leave so maybe it was only a temp job anyway. Perhaps she 's working with sky news , i don't know as i dont watch that show.
Compared to Leyla Hayes , Ruth Liptrot , etc, she was a passable reporter.

I think I've seen her do interactive summaries on BBC - so that'll be a bit of a come down for her.
