That new presenter, Barbara Serra - I'm not sure about her. She's an o'kay presenter but I feel some of her expressions are a bit over the top.

Kirsty Young is my personal five favourite. I know she is an anchor for Sky News Today but does Julie Etchingham still front the odd bulletin here and there?

I've not really watched five news much but I have to say, their graphics I think are the best out of all the other national news bulletins (BBC, ITV, C4 etc.)

She has one of the oddest accents on TV, like hilary anderson, she's travelled so much its become mangled out of recognition

Barbara Serra, she made me laugh when i seen her today. She is very nice woman and a good news reader. Her accent had me in stitches.

Barbara Serra has presented for BBC London as well. I think she has reported for Sky - didn't she report from the Vatican during the recent coverage of the death of Pope John Paul II? ISTR she spoke fluent Italian, so acted as a translator when interviewing in Italian?

Yes, she is Italian so was the obvious choice when that story happened (and of course it was expected for a very long time) - not only in terms of language, but knowing a bit about the Catholic church and the machinations of the Vatican
