The Five News Thread

Interesting to see Helen on the Five News 7pm bulletin and evening updates last night. She was quite good. Is she going to be permanent now thats shes no longer with Look North and Charlie's left?

Is she from sky. I have to admit ive never seen her before. Shes ok. I though she stumbled a few times, but that was probably her trying desperatly to hold onto the bansiter.
Five has taken one of the biggest nose dives ive seen in ages. I WANT for someone to fall off the "Stairs". I used to regiliously watch Five, mainly because I was at uni and it was convienent to have just a five minutes summary every hour. The pres was great as well, but I now find myself turning over whenever I hear that rubbish music and see that garish studio. Plus forget 5min summaries, its all stroved into 60 seconds. What will they think of next.....

She's on BBC London again tonight.

It seems she's everywhere. Hope she gets made permanent at BBC London. Would like to see her doing the morning and lunchtime slots.

I don't think she's a bad reader, but experience interviewing full of them Hollywood stars and Cannon & Ball and Dicky Turd on Look North, doesn't fill me with confidence that she'd be that challenging during interviews.

Well I'll wait for her to start rewriting press releases from Bristol City Council before I make a judegement on that Nick!
