Poor studio design (looks like a Newsround reject or something based on Live and kicking from 1985). The colours are an awful choice.

Music was good and news content has been good. Also widescreen is another plus.

But studio is still YUCK!

Christ... what on Earth are you talking about?

You have seen the studio for about five seconds and made a firm decision on it... you've made a decision on the news content and it's only been on 6 minutes! Maybe you should wait until they finish the programme until you decide how good it is!

The only thing I'm not keen on so far is that fairly tacky graphic in the top left, and the obscurely tight shot of Kirsty Young... does she have any shoulders?!

Really? Why?

My initial reaction was YUCK! I have seen the studio numerous times now and it's still YUCK!

Also the close-up framing of Kirsty Young looks strange. Are the cameras true widescreen or are they being converted UTV style to widescreen?

Great use of SKY�News resources so far!

Haha, says 'Fiver' in that picture. Hope its worth more than that!

Nasty looking hotspot from the projector behind though - and also very visible in the wide shot on the last page.

If they have to shoot off-centre to avoid it, won't we end up with washed out looking images?

Could be a poorly set up flash reflection from the stills camera set-up?
