The old thread was archived so here we are once more!
Have been catching up with the latest series of Humans on Channel 4 recently and they're really not holding back with the fictional news bulletins this time around! In the past I think they might have featured fake news branding (the titles definitely featured some fake newspaper front pages), but they've now gone for the real thing, with ITV News, BBC News and also NY1 in the US (?!) featuring in the first few minutes of the new series, although oddly Channel 4 News is nowhere to be seen!
The ITV News graphics look to be the real deal (although in my capture the text is oddly squished), whilst the BBC ones are a recreation. All in all one of the most thorough jobs I've seen when it comes to getting real newsreaders involved, with them even getting different presenters in for different scenes - so far Simon McCoy and George Aligiah (both in Studio E), along with Huw Edwards (in Studio C) have popped up, whilst Alistair Stewart has appeared for ITV. Some scenes where BBC News pops up see a clock appear next to the ticker, whilst others don't - this leads to the GLARING continuity error of George Aligiah presenting on the NC at 19:27!
