Special festive christmas titles for BBC Look North NE&C from Saturday teatime. Features Santas and a chilly looking Angel of the North. Can't recall this being done previously. Any other regions got similar?

Should be available on http://www.bbc.co.uk/looknorthnecumbria 'watch the latest edition' when it gets updated.

Look East had very festive titles about 10 or 11 years ago - with a very christmassy remix of their Guy Michelmore-penned theme (sleigh bells, bits of carols mixed in etc.) The titles had snowflakes on them, and the set had a snowy landscape in their lightboxes (a lighting change meant they appeared for the second half of the programme)

Festive titles for main programme now on line. Has any other region got these -apart from the wintry Angel of the North, they don't seem particularly specific to the region?

Sorry for being OT, but why is Look North using the closer music for their opening titles?

What do you mean 'closer music'??

That music is always used for the main programme.

Because our region's music is all to pot.

They're using the f*cking Newsline bed for headlines!

Yes I took a look at the clip there and I couldn't believe the Opening Headlines, the first being the National beat, then nothing and then to the Newsline one, how very odd.

On Technical standards it makes North West Tonight look very impressive, and that's saying something.
