You'd think that if you were going to publish cartoons that were without a doubt going to cause massive offence and be hugely controversial you'd at least make sure they were funny!
I can't believe that the British press are censoring these cartoons.
The muslims are not helping themselves in the slightest by creating such a furore about this issue.
Muslims are continually alienating themselves in societies to which they've encroached themselves into all around the world, and if they cannot take a joke, then they should seriously re-evaluate their own teachings of tolerance and peace.
I heard on the radio a few minutes ago that around forty muslim protesters turned up outside the BBC last night because a cartoon was shown for a few seconds on television. Absolutely ridiculous that they should protest. The muslim faith has gone way down in my estimations. How dare them.
As an athiest, I could claim that I'm 'offended' by their continual preachings and hypocritical stances - but I wouldn't dare. I would be hauled in front of a judge and jury charged with incitement to racial hatred.

I agree with you. It is once again fear of the political correctness police with their sirens and flashing lights (no particular colour specified in case they offend part of the 'colder' spectrum).
Now if this was taking the urine out of a Chrisitan religion, there would be no problem, everybody would be laughing and happily getting on with their lives.

yeah because Christian demonstrators wouldn't stand outside TVC burning their licence fee documents or anything stupid like that would they?
Did you see that hideous man Stephen Green on Newsnight last night - his argument appeared to be that Muslims can be offended but Jerry Springer the Opera should not have been shown because it offends Christians? The reason? Christians don't blow themselves up on the tube!
