Euronews - "Everything is changing"

It was never on Sky Analogue I know that one for sure, although some Cable operators such as mine which was NYNEX/CWC they carried it, although they dropped it not after too long.

NTL only readded it again in 2004 or so as a channel, it used to be simulcast on Channel M between 6.00am and 12.00pm for a while a few years ago so I started watching it again there.

...and everything has changed!

A cheap looking ten second countdown started the new look, presumably that was just completing their whole countdown.

Not sure what to make of the logo. There's a huge emphasis on circles in the graphics.

They seem to have scrapped the main clock and are just showing the minutes past the hour.

The website's been refreshed as well and looks far better than the dog's dinner they used to have.

I think the new look is horrible, seems very cheap (not that EuroNews' previous attempts had much effort put into them). Now broadcasting in 16:9 in a 4:3 frame, and it seems they have thrown the safe areas out the window, setting the TV to crop the letterboxing results in the text going missing.

Yucky! It's hardly major, just crappy new graphics and a bit of a schedule re-arrangement. The logo is ugly and basic, and that clock!?

I see they've changed the clock into their old style by only displaying what minute it is rather than the hour, so right now it's just :41

That weathermap is a f*cking disgrace - second only to the BBC for its squewed view of Scotland.

Hmm, that big white circle seems like it should have something in it. The idents don't really seem suited to a news channel either, they seem a bit abstract.

On the plus side, its a change after what, nearly ten years of the previous look. Very clean and moden too.
