Channel 4 haven't done much as far as I can tell, unless a live CA announced the result before the sitcoms they show at this time of day, the next news update is at 11:50 for 15 mins, an extended summary which usually lasts five minutes

Very poor handover to ITN there, cutting Susanna Reid off mid-sentence...

I didn't care for the BBC's effort. I thought Jeremy Vine was fine and when they tossed to the studio for updates I was amazed at how thorough the anchors were. They packed so much information in a short amount of time with multiple interviews. It was like Spark Notes for the night. I ended up watching ITV on C-SPAN while watching MSNBC on my iPad.

Tom Bradby's presentation was vastly improved compared to the last election.

RTE have been with rolling coverage since 9am anchored by Bryan Dobson in London, with John Finnerty in Dublin. Originally there was just a 10-minute bulletin scheduled at 9am.

Obviously this has massive ramifications for Ireland. And even more-so here in Northern Ireland, where this throws up all sorts of border and constitutional issues. So I'd be very surprised if BBC NI/UTV don't do something extra during the day.

CNN USA is still simulcasting CNNI instead of producing its own "Early Start" as it usually does. Richard Quest and Christiane Amanpour are still on the air!

I don't think CNN expected this result. CNN USA was running its own primetime shows last night when CNNI crashed into it and has been on ever since.

The lower thirds have disappeared on BBC One Scotland during Nicola Sturgeon's speech announcing her intention to hold a second independence referendum.

Presuming BBC Scotland are about to leave network to do their own thing, unexpectedly.

Shall we start a new Scottish IndyRef thread now?
