There is a problem with the live ticker when watching it on TV though. Half the bloody thing goes missing at the bottom of my screen.

Did anybody else notice the "Millbank" live locator on the BBC for the Nicky Morgan DTL, before it was quickly changed to Westminster?

STV opted out quite badly at 10:30, interesting as well that they are using ITV's graphics instead of their own...

ITV seem to be making the most of local ITV News Group reporters - do they do this often now?

The black pillar with the white ITV News logo on it helps make the VR set look realistic.

Why on earth did BBC World join BBC News/BBC1 at 10.58 rather than on the hour?

Feel a bit sorry for Tom Bradby and co - they do all the hard work overnight then have to hand over to GMB for the result. Can't understand really now that ITV own the breakfast slot why they didn't let the main coverage run right through.

And from what I've seen so far Allegra by far the better signing than Peston, who looks like he'd about to drop off at any moment.

The BBC really need to ditch Jeremy Vine and the VR. He is patronising, the VR graphics are mostly superfluous and it says something when it takes an eternity to explain the 'index' graphic, which, then needs to be explained a second time when virtually everyone in the studio is sat looking utterly baffled by what he has said...

Didn't Tom head to GMB to host it at the last election?

UTV Ireland crashed straight from the Ireland Live at Ten endboard into the network feed, and removed their DOG at the same time. (Though UTV NI has kept its).
