Apologies if already covered. Looks like a 'non'

Adam Boulton is live from Paris.

I mentioned this in the BBC Parliament thread but, from watching the French news channel i-tele's coverage online, it looks like their on-screen straps for the referendum special are heavily inspired by the current ITV news channel ones!

Jon Sopel presenting live from Paris on BBC World and BBC News 24 with Paul Adams reporting from the Interior Ministry. David Eades was presenting from Paris during the day.

Sky have Adam Boulton and Tim Marshall in Paris, with Rachel Amatt in Arles-en-Provence.

* By the way, would anyone be able to capture an image of Jon Sopel standing in the street in Paris under his tent-type-thingy please?! Very Happy You would have thought that the Beeb would have been able to get a studio rather than a gazebo from Homebase Wink

Let's hope this is finally the end of this stupid Europe business.

Twice the Germans have INVADED France with little resistance.

At last the French have seen sense and voted NON .

I think she introduced herself as Karen Giannone (Google helpfully corrected my spelling). She looks vaguely familiar.

Eades is a bizarre choice of anchor for World in Paris. I know he used to be Europe Correspondent, but he really doesn't carry any weight at all IMO.

On BBC World, we expect to see people like Nik Gowing and Nisha Pillai on these type of majors. Even Lyse Doucet.

Lyse did Dateline yesterday actually.

OT but talking of Dateline London, why is it now from the N24 studio? I had heard they were moving so they could do up the Millbank studio for the election but there was no sign of that.
