Anyone else up? Obviously I'm from the South East so didn't feel anything.

Sky News now showing repeated map of affected areas

BBC News 24 continuing with World News Tonight but have Breaking News strap in view.

EDIT: I realise this is being discussed in relevant threads.

Yep. Was quite bad here in Herefordshire.

Was very creepy! The bed just shook. And I could see everything shaking out my window. Laughing

Anyway all this excitement has made me tired... I'm back off to bed!

Seemed to take N24 about 20 mins to flag it up, I guess that's one benefit of Sky's willingness to use viewer submitted info as a source.

"Some very graphic pictures coming into us at the moment..."

No, really? Followed by no pictures at all. Great work as usual, Sky.

Nothing here in my part of London, as far as I could tell, although news sources are reporting that it was felt in London.

Nothing felt at Sky News in their part of west London according to the current anchor.

I felt it in Sheffield. Lasted about 10 seconds and honestly thought an RAF jet was flying into my house.

Well I felt and heard it in Sheffield. Thought an RAF jet was landing in the garden.

I'm about two miles from Sky, and I felt the building shake very slightly, and I initially wondered whether I had imagined it until I saw the breaking news graphics on N24.

It was considerably less noticeable to me than, for example, the 'quakes' in 2002 or 2003 around Midlands and the North West, although I was living in Manchester at the time. To be honest, the feeling of the ground moving was less perceptible than when the Buncefield oil depot went up a few years ago!

As mentioned above, N24 stuck on their breaking news super while sticking with ABC World News; Martine Croxall gave a quick precis of the available details during the 0145 summary break.

The 0200 news gave a brief mention to the tremors, although the world-focused bulletin obviously avoided exploring the details in great detail. After the 0230 summary, with BBC World having departed to its own schedule, five minutes or so were afforded to the story, including a live 2-way over the phone and some emails/texts were read out, before N24 went to The Record.

The breaking news graphic has now gone, and the standard white ticker is being used.

I'm not being funny here but did anyone else's dogs react oddly during Sunday & Monday evening?

My dog climbs up the settee or shivers/shakes because of fireworks in late November and around New Year. He was the same on Sunday & Monday night. I was so concerned I rang my Sister to see if her dogs were bheaving oddly (she wasn't in).

I am wondering whether the dog's fear was perhaps due to tremors which I couldn't feel. He's stopped now and is back to his normal semi-comatosed state.

Am I barking mad for considering this? Idea (I suspect not)

Was quite strong here in crappy Skegness, as it happened nearly up the road. All the cows started mooing and my cat went more mental than usual

N24 took ages to report it, Sky getting there about 10 mins after it happened
