Titles and music are great, but the set is embarassingly awful. Really don't understand why don't they use the normal set, the one used for regular bulletins.

why do we at 19.00 not get the thunderclap headline bed it lookes much better i dont think the 12.00 edition should be any different to the 19.00 edition

Without underestimating the importance of BBC World within BBC News, it does show in some respects the lack of effort with the flagship BBC1 bulletins.
Mainly the little things like the astons - from a UK perspective we see a BBC Four bulletin with a fully working graphics package ala BBC News 24, while BBC1 are stuck with those nasty fade on, fade off captions!
In addition, World News Today gets a distinctive set of titles which are undoubtably linked to the corporate them, but give the programme the appearance of it being a little bit more important by not using the generic titles used elsewhere.
